Discussion and Application
Begin discussions with our franchise development team. Get to know each other — telling us your goals and background and let’s see if this is a fit. Submit a franchise application.
Pre-Qualify and Start Due Diligence
Once pre-qualifications are met, our franchise development team will start discussing the opportunity in greater detail. This will officially start the due diligence process.
Franchise Disclosure Document and Background Check
Begin reviewing the Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) and schedule a call with the franchise development team to review the document. Prior to executive committee approval, we’ll ask you to submit a background check verification.
Discovery Day and Executive Meeting
Schedule the executive committee video call. Once approved by the committee, the next step is an invitation to the Discovery Days on site, where you’ll meet with our corporate team for a system overview.
Final Review and Approval
With the final approval from our executive team, we will present you with our franchise agreement. Once all agreements are executed, you’re officially part of the LA BAKERY family!
Site Selection and Site Approval
We will help you find the best site for your new bakery café. Once you sign a lease, we’ll begin an extensive training program which provides your team with all the knowledge and hands-on training needed in preparation of your bakery café opening.
Grand Opening
To prepare for your big opening day, our operations and marketing teams will work with you to get all the details finalized. From final store training to local store marketing, we’ll be with you each step of the way.
